Most of our bookcases come from India, where they re-use the beautiful carvings that they rescue from demolished buildings. The rest of the bookcase is made out of recycled teak pieces that they also rescue, mainly being floorboards.
We ask them to leave the beautiful paintwork as it is if possible, as we feel that this gives the piece of furniture it’s uniqueness.
